My Design Process
A structured, iterative approach to solving complex problems and creating user-centered solutions that bridge business goals with human needs.
1. Empathize
I begin every project by immersing myself in the user's world. This phase is about gathering raw data and understanding the emotional context of the problem.
How it helps
"Ensures the solution addresses real human problems rather than assumptions or biases."
2. Define
Data without synthesis is just noise. Here, I crystallize findings into actionable insights, user personas, and a clear North Star problem statement.
How it helps
"Provides a focal point for the entire team, ensuring everyone solves the same problem."
3. Ideate
Quality comes from quantity. I explore a vast range of solutions through sketching and rapid brainstorming before narrowing down to the most viable concepts.
How it helps
"Unlocks creative solutions and explores edge cases before committing to high-fidelity designs."
4. Prototype
I build to think. From low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity interactive prototypes, I create artifacts that allow stakeholders and users to feel the experience.
How it helps
"Visualizes the solution and serves as a tool for validation and developer handoff."
5. Test
The process doesn't end; it loops. I put my prototypes in front of real users, observe their behavior, and refine based on friction points and feedback.
How it helps
"Reduces the risk of building the wrong thing and improves overall user satisfaction."
