❌ The Challenge

Patients with heart conditions often face a fragmented and overwhelming care experience. Scheduling timely appointments with specialists can be difficult, while access to medical records, test results, and prescriptions is often scattered across multiple systems. Communication between patients, doctors, and caregivers is frequently inconsistent. These gaps in coordination and access can lead to confusion, increased anxiety, missed diagnoses, medication errors, and lower engagement in long-term care management.

"The core challenge is not lack of health data, but lack of a connected, accessible experience that supports continuous care."

✅ The Solution

HeartBeat is a patient-centered platform designed to simplify cardiac care and improve continuity of care. By unifying key tools in one experience, it enhances patient engagement, supports personalized treatment, and improves long-term heart health outcomes.

User Insights (Conceptual Analysis)

Scheduling

Pain Point

Missed or delayed appointments are a recurring breakdown point. Scheduling gaps and lack of reminders reduce continuity in care and follow-ups.

Guidance

Market Gap

Medication adherence decreases when guidance is unclear or inconsistent. Without simple tracking and reminders, patients are more likely to miss or mismanage prescriptions.

Trust

User Testing

Communication gaps reduce trust and engagement. Limited coordination between patients, caregivers, and providers leads to confusion and reduced confidence in care.

Key Learnings

Clarity is critical in healthcare UX

Simplifying complex medical information into clear, actionable interfaces is essential to reduce user anxiety and improve engagement.

Broken systems make care harder

When appointments, records, and communication are spread across different places, it becomes difficult for patients to manage their heart health effectively.
